The Zelienople Police Department is proud to have two Officers certified in Instruction of ALERRT and ALICE.

 

ALERRT (Advanced Law Enforcement Rapid Response) curriculum offers a multitude of training for not only Law Enforcement, but civilians as well.

 

Our department will continue to instruct ALICE Training when requested for businesses and schools that wish to continue with the ALICE Program, the ALERRT curriculum has been adopted by many agencies nationwide as the new Active Shooter Response standard. In addition to in-depth after-action lessons learned through partnerships with agencies who have been involved in headline-making active shooter situations, ALERRT has established a criminal justice research department to evaluate and enhance the overall understanding of active shooter events and assist in improving law enforcement best practices. The ALERRT Mission is to provide the best research-based active shooter response training in the nation.

 

Our Officers take pride in the instruction of the ALERRT Curriculum, and offer these trainings to local agencies, schools, churches, and businesses who wish to obtain first hand knowledge and training for active shooter situations.
